Love this book! Been wanting a book on Chesapeake Bay Retrievers since I love in Maryland and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are the state dog, I wanted to learn more about the breed. This book has helped.

Great book for our new Chesapeake puppy...needed easy to read tips on how to train. Especially helpful for puppy biting of our hands, lease training and other basic training methods. Enjoyed this book and have referred back to as needed. I bought the used one as it was for me and not a gift...great price. I do recommend this easy to use "owner manual".

If you just got a Chesapeake, this is a perfect starter book. Although it doesn't cover any one topic in great detail, it does cover most topics a new dog owner would want to know. Everything from grooming, feeding and behavior, it's all there. Good luck with your pup.
