About the Author
Martine Faure-Alderson, D.O., has integrated osteopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture, homeopathy, and reflexology into her medical practice since the 1960s. A reflexology student of Doreen Bayly, she founded the Total Reflexology Therapy school in Paris in 1974. After more than 25 years of research, she developed Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR), a unique combination of osteopathy, cranio-sacral therapy, and reflexology, and in 2010 founded the CSRI Academy of Excellence in London. She gives seminars throughout the world and is the author of Total Reflexology. She lives in England.

As a Reflexologist, I found this book to be extremely helpful for providing additional information to my clients
Wow! I am a long-time massage therapist and a recently certified foot reflexologist, and have studied the cranial-sacral system and wanted to improve my skill with hand reflexology. But this book goes way beyond my expectations and I am in awe! I have perused every chapter and will take my time digesting this information. The reflex point charts are much more specific than those used to gain my certification. And then there is so much information about each body system, and especially of the brain. I believe this will help me be a better lifetime therapist.
This has little to do with the actual performance of reflexology. The whole book is an anatomy lesson on CSF. and the spinal cord. Would not recommend this book to anyone. If you want a detailed anatomy lesson that this book tries to convey, go to your local college and enroll in A&PII. This book did little to keep interest and very difficult to follow. This review coming from a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit.
This book contains a great deal of information. I use the information as I need, but the author is educated and the information detailed, so I can see the book being a great source for someone studying reflexology. I keep my copy handy as a regular resource. I am happy with my purchase.
